Supernatural Facts of the Bible proving the Scriptures were God inspired

In Genesis, God said that male babies should be circumcised when they are eight days old. Genesis 17:12 “For the generations to come every male among you who is eight days old must be circumcised,”  Medical science has now discovered that this is the day that the coagulating factor in the blood, called prothrombin, is the highest. It reaches its peak on the eighth day, then drops. Medical science has also discovered that this is when the human body’s immune system is at its peak.

 Today we are told that eating fat is bad for our hearts and can lead to prostate cancer. God said not to eat fat thousands of years ago Leviticus 7:22-23 ‘The Lord said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites: ‘Do not eat any of the fat of cattle, sheep or goats.” God also instructed the Israelites not to eat pork; we know that pork has to be thoroughly cooked because it can carry parasites. God gave his people many dietary instructions. Although we can see the reasons for them today, God’s people at the time, had to trust him for a reason.

 Leviticus 13:46 “As long as they have the disease they remain unclean. They must live alone; they must live outside the camp.”  God gave the Israelite’s laws concerning quarantine 3500 years ago. Modern man did not instigate laws of quarantine until the seventeenth century. Millions of lives could have been saved during the black plague alone if people had listened to God’s command concerning quarantine.

The Bible is proven accurate though it’s prophecy that has already been fulfilled. And by the archaeology finds that have documented its accuracy. Nearly one-quarter of the Bible is made up of prophecy.

There are approximately 2500 predictions in the Bible. About 2000 of these predictions have already been fulfilled. Many down to minor details. More are being fulfilled as we watch the approach of the end times. The remaining prophecies will be fulfilled during and after the tribulation.

None of the books from the world’s counterfeit religions have even dared to make such prophecies as the Bible contains, for who but God, knows the future.

Archaeology has continued to prove the Bible true. Historical scholars claimed there was no proof that King Herod, Pontius Pilate, Nebuchadnezzar, Belshazzar,  Hezekiah, Darius, and King David ever existed. But archaeological discoveries in recent years have proved they and many more biblical characters did exist. Archaeology has never proved the Bible false, rather it has substantiated the scriptures.  Archaeologists continue to find cities and places mentioned in the Bible, such as in 2004 when they discovered the Siloam Pool where Jesus healed the blind man. And in September of 2015, the biblical city of Sodom was discovered. Excavations show that the city came to a sudden fiery end, just as portrayed in the Bible. In fact, all archaeology finds have agreed with the historical biblical accounts as recorded in the Bible. There has not been a single artifact or discovery made that would disprove what is written in The Word of God.

 An honest look at the scriptures can leave no doubt, but that the writings were God inspired.
